Summary:
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting an administrative professional to help them stay organized and complete tasks that allow them to focus on more advanced responsibilities.
This role will provide support to the President & CEO of Cognito Cyber Group.
This role will start part time with the opportunity for growth into full-time (within 12 months) for the right candidate.

The candidate should be available during core business hours Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
Answer phones and greet visitors.
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings Collate and distribute mail.
Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence.
Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents.
Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping.
Qualifications:
Decision-making:
Must be able to make independent decisions on a daily basis, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks.
Communications and collaboration:
Must be able to collaborate with other administrators and support personnel, management, and clients on a regular basis.
Organizational skills:
Must have strong organization and prioritization skills as you must know how to keep yourself and others organized and how to prioritize tasks.
Writing:
Strong written and verbal communication are essential to this role.
Must be proficient in a variety of writing styles, from creative to professional to technical to educational.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft Teams' scheduling and planning functions.
Previous administrative experience supporting senior management or above.
Previous experience with supporting federal government contracting companies.
Critical thinking and analytical skills.
Proficiency with various social media applications.
Experience and Education A minimum of two (2) years of administrative support and office management experience 2 years of administrative assistant experience Knowledge of appropriate software including, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat High school diploma or equivalent Associate or bachelor's degree preferred Job Type:
